A long time ago, in a land far away, the city of Klaipeda, Lithuania introduced the sport of billiards to its local inhabitants and visitors. At that time, there were only 2 billiard halls in the city.

After a long break in time, the "Texas" Billiard Club opened on Dec. 10th, 2005 - complete with the slogan, "A New Attitude to Billiards!".

All the regular players and staff are professional players, and have spent many hours dedicated to the pursuit of billiards. The owners and staff threw themselves into a goal to "energize" the players in Klaipeda, and to provide a good environment, tables, and equipment for them to enjoy.

There are 6 professional "Kaldera" billiard tables in "Texas", manufactured in Kaunas. Each table is of similar design. 2 of them are Russian Pyramid tables, 3 of them are Pool tables, and the club also has a full-size Snooker table. Attention is paid to keeping them all in excellent condition. The Pyramid tables have certificates from the International Pyramid Committee. Most of the professional billiard clubs in the capital city of Vilnius have chosen these types of tables, and they are often used during billiard tournaments.

The staff of the "Texas" billiard club are all seasoned players. They know all the correct rules for the various games of billiards, and are glad to share their knowledge and provide guidance and tips to help any player.

Are you a beginner? Do you need some help in selecting the right stick? Just ask the bartender, and he will do his best to guide you according to the level of your skill. Discount cards are available for everyone, and regular players have the possibility to use handmade professional cue sticks.

The "Texas" billiard club is a club in the true sense of the name. The more experienced players are always willing to give advice to beginners or anyone else who wants to improve their game - whether it a question about aiming, stance, stroke, or strategy in any given situation. Many of the regular players are winners and champions of various tournaments, and are always glad to help.

English and Russian are the most common languages used in the study and theory of the various types of billiards, because there still isn't enough information currently available in Lithuanian, and some of it may not be reliable.
